Description
This course will prepare participants to undergo competency testing for tower rescue. The scope of the program is to prepare participants that provide varying degrees of response to emergencies involving guyed, self-supporting, monopoles and non-standard tower structures (water towers, wind turbines, concrete towers, silos, flare stacks, radar structures, wooden poles, portable towers, and tower cranes).

• Fall protection regulations
• Fall hazard elimination and hazard controls
• Fall hazards surveys
• Fall protection procedures
• Regulations regarding the proper inspection, care, maintenance, storage, and documentation of fall protection equipment
• Fall protection system assessments and determining when a system is unsafe
• Fall protection rescue procedures
• Selection and use of non-certified anchorages
